NHC House purchase Process:
National Housing Corporation (NHC) is inviting Tanzania residents and Non-residents who are interested to purchase a house in our newly constructed apartments in Arusha Municipality. Meru Residential Apartments are expected to be completed in 90 calendar days from 1st of October 2011.
PROPERTY SELLING PRICE
The minimal selling price for one apartment is TZS 175,314,366.48 VAT exclusive, the highest bidder who will be able to meet all necessary condition as listed below stands a high chance to win.
The interested bidders (purchasers) are required to observe the following process:
- The interested purchasers should collect “House Purchase Application Form” from NHC - Head Quarters, Arusha Regional Office or Meru Residential Apartments project sales office which is located on site, any NHC Regional Office countrywide or download them from the NHC website (Click here).
- The “House Purchase Application Form” should be dully filled and signed and submitted along with letter which indicates the offer price for the apartment that you are willing to pay. Other necessary document should include proof of payment of TZS 10,000 application fee (Non refundable) and evidence of 10% down payment payable to NHC's Bank account (the deposit should be proportion to the amount you have offered). The down payment is as commitment and desire of the applicants to purchase the house. Bank Account: NHC Kibla House Project, CRDB Bank A/C No: 01J1005161304
- All the successful applicants will receive letters of offer for house purchase. They will be given 90 calendar days, from the date of the letter, to finalize the payment of the remaining 90% of the value of the house applied. The payment plan can be evidenced either by cash deposited in the project account or by confirmation of Mortgage offered by one of the participating financial institution.
- Upon the expiry of the 90 days period without the submission of the proof of payment plan, NHC will allocate the house to another bidder in the waiting list. The applicant who misses the opportunity due to inability to pay 90% will be given a chance to use the 10% down payment for either applying for another house in other NHC projects or to be refunded. If the applicant opts to be refunded she/he will be subjected to deduction of 2% of the deposited amount.
- Deadline for submission of the bids applications shall be Monday the 4th of November 2011 at 10:00 hours local time.
- The Submission should be enclosed in A4 envelop marked "Application for Purchase of Meru Residential Apartments - Arusha"
